At DP Doors & Shutters we employ our own Health and Safety consultant. His role is to liaise with customers to confirm their requirements for on site working and to ensure that our own engineers are trained and equipped to meet all relevant H&S standards and safe systems of work.

We consider all aspects of the project to ensure a safe system of work and as a matter of course will prepare necessary Risk Assessments/ Method Statement to ensure that the work is carried out safely and successfully.

In conjunction with the DHF (doors and hardware federation), we are currently helping to write an industry standard Method Statement / Risk Assessment for the erection of a roller shutter door.

All our engineers are trained in the use of hydraulic access platforms, the erection of mobile scaffold towers and have all completed passport to safety courses.
